The UA School of Music presents a guest artist recital featuring the internationally acclaimed soloists David Jackson (University of Michigan professor) and Michael Brown (University of Michigan alumnus/ U.S. Navy Band member). The recital begins at 7:30 in Crowder Hall on Saturday, September 28. In addition, Professor Jackson will present a master class to UA music students on Monday, September 30, at 11:00 a.m. in Room 232. The recital, titled "Michizona Bones," will also include trombonists Moises Paiewonsky (UA professor), Alex van Duuren (UA doctoral student and also UM alumnus), Joseph Munoz (Tucson Symphony Orchestra member and UM alumnus). The pianist will be Elena Miraztchiyska (UA doctoral student).
