The Railbirdz have built a foundation based on variations of Chicago style blues, R&B, a dash of funk, and a little soul. The premise was simple: lay out some grooves that move people, and give them variety. Through various iterations of "The Birdz", the core of the band has remained undeterred and from its main goal; utilize excellent musicians with professional attitudes who can play their asses off and still have fun doing it. The band specifically chooses its material not normally covered by other bands from artists like Dave Weckl, Liquid Soul, The Cate Brothers and others. Blues with a groove, some funk, and a lot of soul - that's what you'll hear when you listen to the Birdz.
