Award winning singer/songwriter, Kevin Pakulis, received national and international attention for his 2004 debut album, "Yeah Yeah Yeah". Described as a "...cross between Tom Petty and a young John Cash", Kevin's songs are tight edgy and delivered with authority. "Kevin Pakulis outright nails it. His music represents the best of a genre." ...No Depression Magazine. Kevin was the first place winner in the 2004 Tucson Folk Festival Songwriting Competition, and a top 10 finalist at the 2004 Mountainstage Newsong Festival. San Jacinto Records signed Kevin in late 2006 and released his long awaited second album, "mockingbird radio". Following along the lines of "Yeah Yeah Yeah", "mockingbird radio" is full of great songs, big groove, and fine guitar work from one of the Southwest's best singer/songwriters. In the spring of 2007, Kevin teamed up with his long time bass player Larry Lee Lerma to record an acoustic duo CD, Kevin Pakulis & Larry Lee Lerma. This CD is all KP songs with the exception of one David Bromberg favorite.
