For reasons unknown, Alex and Mike ventured out into the heartless desert where they heard the sound. Brad and Roger (and Gimpy) climb down from a nearby cactus and, after introductions, someone asked, "Do you hear that sound?" Yes they all heard the sound but its source could not be observed. By Tuesday, an exotic realm had risen up in that spot built of the most inviting rhythms and pleasing tones. That realm was Mombasa.
