SONORAN GLASS SCHOOL FLAME OFF!

Heat up the winter at SGS’s 2013 Flame Off! Founded here in Tucson by Tom Philabaum, the event has grown into a highly anticipated flameworking competition. Flame Off is: Dozens of Glass Artists from across the globe competing against the clock to create the wildest glass art creations either solo or in teams of two. The Flame Off, a highlight of the Gem and Mineral Show, draws hundreds of people for a night of spectacular entertainment, providing the ultimate opportunity to get together to celebrate everything that is fun and exciting about glass!
