Leftmore has been a lot of places, and played a lot of shows. Averaging over a hundred shows a year for the past three years, you could say that Joe Ziegler has been a busy bee. Rather than being penchant on writing catchy music or caring about where he is on the RN rock charts, Joe focuses on sharing his life experiences through song to anyone who wants to hear it, creating friends rather than fans, and spreading positivity like its patchouli at a hippie party.
The acoustic rock project has worked hard to make a national name for itself, but made its roots in Colorado Springs. It has been a solo acoustic project for the past 2 years, but started as a duo (Joe Ziegler and Matt Shaw. After 2 releases and 6 national tours together (the last with drummer, Chris Doxtator), Matt left the band. Joe released the first solo full-length, "For Every Tree, A Seed." in the early Fall of 2010. Now centered in Metro Denver, Joe spends about half of his year booking, and the other half is playing all across the country from Los Angeles to Minneapolis to Pensacola.
Joe continues carrying the Leftmore banner, and has been now been on double-digit national, playing over 275 solo shows (Sept 09-July 09) with more to come. Unsigned, but undaunted, Joe marches on without the looming fear that he "won't be found" because he's the one in pursuit.
